About Univar Logistics
Univar Logistics began in 2015 with a mission to help clients in South Sudan source, import, clear, and forward vehicles from Kenya.
South Sudan, then a young nation emerging from decades of conflict, faced limited supply chain infrastructure. Importing vehicles safely and reliably was a major challenge for businesses and individuals.
From our humble beginnings in Juja, Kenya, we supported clients by sourcing high-quality vehicles, handling customs clearance, and ensuring safe cross-border delivery. Trust grew quickly — and so did demand.
Over time, Univar Logistics expanded into full-scale logistics services, including cargo movement, procurement, and supply chain support across East Africa.
A major milestone was our contract with Mara Sugar Company to deliver sugarcane — a project that demonstrated our capacity and commitment to large-scale, time-sensitive operations.
Today, we proudly serve manufacturing, agriculture, trade, and international import sectors — growing from a small startup into a regional logistics partner.
